Hotel Hauptstadtperle (translation: Capital City Pearl) Berlin

Is located in Friedrichshain in east Berlin near Boxhagener Platz and Frankfurter Tor. It is within the S-Bahn ring and conveniently close to other means of public transportation in all directions. Kreutziger Street is a small residential street ending in a cul-de-sac, devoid of through traffic.

Our little hotel is small but nice. The „pearl“ has 7 rooms (single and double), a vacation apartment and a spacious user-friendly lobby for all our guests, complete with a fully functioning kitchen, guest refrigerator, dining area and cozy sofas to relax on. On our large garden terrace you can enjoy the view of the green, cozy garden – and all this in the middle of Berlin.

The hotel is open all year, 24 hours a day.

The two single rooms (6 & 7) and one double room share a bathroom with a shower, located in the hallway.

Furnishings

Our lobby area with its open kitchen, dining and lounge areas (circa 60qm, or 197² feet) as well as our garden terrace are available to all our guests.

Each room is furnished with a TV, Wi-Fi and a hair dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a guest refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, refrigerator for beverages, dishes, flatware, pots & pans, a stove, an oven and a dishwasher.

The vacation apartment has a bedroom with a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm , circa 71”x 79”) and access to the garden terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a shower, a living area with a sofa bed, a dining area, TV and Wi-Fi.

A baby cot can be provided on request (one-time fee of 15 €).

Guests who prefer to smoke can do so on the balcony or the terrace, as long as it isn’t indoors.

As the hotel strives to be allergy-friendly, we do not allow pets.

The Aparment is located on the ground floor and has a private, spacious wooden terrace on the garden side with a view of the cozy garden. It is 45 square meters in size an can accommodate up to 4 people.

Booking and Cancellation Conditions

After your inquiry you will receive our offer by email. If you accept the offer, we will send you a booking confirmation that is binding for both parties and an invoice. We try to respond within a few hours. If you have not received a response after 12 hours, then either we are very busy or our mail may have ended up in your spam folder.

Please pay at least five days before check-in with a bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed. Card Payment on site is possible by arrangement, especially if you are paying in a currency other than euros and/or are staying outside the SEPA-area. We will clarify the details per e-mail.

Please note that on weekends and public holidays, only reservations for 2 nights or more are possible.

– Cancellation up to 5 days before check-in: full refund
– Cancellation from 5 days before check-in: 25% of the amount for all nights
– Cancellation from 3 days before check-in: 50% of the amount for all nights
– Cancellation from 1 day before check-in: 100% of the amount for all nights

Arrival

Using public transportation: BVG

There are a lot of options getting to our place. Here are a few proposals:
From Schönefeld airport: (45 – 60 minutes / ticket zone ABC) → FEX or RB24 (to Hauptbahnhof ) → From Hauptbahnhof to U Samariterstraße (with U5) → Kreutzigerstraße 20 (walking distance 4 min).
Directly from Hauptbahnhof (22 min. / ticket zone AB) → with the U5 to Samariter Str. → walking distance (5 min.)
Ostbahnhof (15 min./ ticket zone AB) → Bus 240 to Simon-Dach-Str. → walking distance (4 min.)

Parking

There is no hotel parking, but you can often find a parking space on Kreutzigerstraße. However, parking here is subject to parking restrictions, i.e. it costs €4/hour from Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to midnight;
from Saturday night to Monday morning: free of charge.

North of Kreutzigerstraße and Frankfurter Allee, for example,
there is no parking management, and it is about a 5-minute walk.

There are also parking garages nearby, e.g.
Plaza Frankfurter Allee (€18/per day), about a 7-minute walk.

In exceptional cases, you can also apply for a parking permit for guests. However, this is only possible in individual cases where special reasons are given, such as health restrictions or severe disability. You can find detailed information here:
